A 180 to Online Business Success
Jake and Jenny had been running an online business for almost a year when they stumbled upon $100K Mastermind. Despite their best efforts, they’d only made three sales on their online course and felt like they weren’t making progress. They came to realize that the online world was vastly different from the in-person, local business they had been familiar with for 15 years, and they needed to adjust their approach.

Jake and Jenny Schneider have been training dogs and their owners together from their home since 2007. Their first in-person business was born during the 2007 recession, and their second (online) in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. Through On Dog Training Academy, they have created an online course and community space with aspirations to guide thousands more pet parents on how to train their dogs to be well-behaved through consistency so they can have a dog they’re proud to bring places.
Not only did the 2020 pandemic cut their revenue in half, but they also couldn’t keep up with all the pandemic puppy behavior cases. Because of this, they needed to figure out a way to get their online business off the ground.
But, before making the investment in $100K Mastermind, two hesitations popped up:
- Would it work for them as dog trainers? They feared the only way to make six-figures was to go the B2B route.
- Would the cost be worth it? Up until this point, they’d been using free online resources to try to learn how to grow their business.

They joined $100K Mastermind with the goal of gaining more exposure because their frustration stemmed from not finding the right people who wanted their dog training course. They yearned for more guidance on how to do things differently than they had before because they were trying what they thought they knew was right, but they weren’t seeing the results of that work.
Along the way, they started noticing other businesses using the strategies they were being taught in $100K Mastermind, and they realized – these were the very strategies that had been working on THEM as consumers!
In their first four months in the program, they’ve been able to build out a fully automated sales system that will work for them for years.

“I think we might’ve scrapped our first course and started all over… we were nearly convinced that no one wanted what we had to offer. But I think the truth is, we just didn’t know the right way to go about getting it out there to the right people; the new puppy owners who love to learn online.”
